The Serena del Mar sector is an exclusive area in the northern part of the city, just minutes away from the best beaches, which are the only ones equipped with biosecurity protocols. A mobile police post makes it a very safe area. Located just 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the Historic Center.
1. Mandatory Guest Registration
Upon booking, it is mandatory to register the identification documents of all guests through our platform. Modifying the guest list after check-in or receiving visitors is strictly prohibited. Minors are only allowed to enter when accompanied by their parents or with a notarized authorization.
2. Security and Access
For security reasons, all guests must wear the identification wristband provided by the building throughout the entire stay. Misplacing or improperly removing the wristband will incur an additional fee and is considered a violation of the rules.
3. Community Rules
• Parties and gatherings inside the apartment are strictly prohibited.
• Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment (allowed only on the balcony, if applicable).
• Consumption of psychoactive substances is strictly prohibited.
• Sexual tourism is strictly prohibited.
• Please moderate noise: loud music is not allowed.
• Respect quiet hours: avoid disturbing noises after 10:00 p.m.
4. Responsible Use of the Space
• Do not remove any items from the apartment (towels, sheets, utensils, furniture).
• Do not hang objects, clothes, or signs in external or common areas.
• Do not throw trash or cigarette butts from the balconies.
• Barbecues or BBQs are not allowed inside the property without prior authorization.
• The use of balls, bicycles, or activities that could damage common areas is prohibited.
5. Care of Linens and Towels
Any linen item (sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels) found stained, torn, or with excessive dirt beyond normal use will be sent to a professional laundry service, and this cost will be charged to the guest. If the stain or damage cannot be removed, the piece will be charged at its full replacement cost as new.
6. Care and Responsibility
• Turn off lights and appliances when leaving.
• Close doors and windows when you are out: Cartagena experiences strong winds that can damage furniture or blow in dirt.
• Any damage must be paid for before checkout.
• If professional cleaning is required due to pets or accidents (fur, stains on linens), the additional cost will be charged.
7. Keys and Access Devices
• Sharing access codes with anyone outside the reservation is strictly prohibited.
• In case of lost keys, a fee of $50,000 COP will apply.
• If keys are left inside and a locksmith is required, the guest must cover the cost of the service.
8. Check-in and Check-out
• Check-in: from 3:00 p.m.
• Check-out: until 11:00 a.m. Failure to comply with the checkout time will result in a penalty fee equivalent to an additional night's stay.
9. Natural Disasters
We are not responsible for damages caused by rain, flooding, or natural disasters.
By confirming your booking, you accept and agree to all of these rules. Non-compliance may result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation and eviction from the building.
To ensure your peace of mind and everyone's safety, please keep the following in mind:
• Visitors: Modifying the guest list during your stay is not allowed, and visitors or unregistered persons are strictly prohibited from entering.
• Mandatory Registration: Once your booking is confirmed, you must complete the document registration for all guests on our platform. This registration must be completed before 5:00 p.m. on your check-in date, and you must notify us once done, as this information must be submitted to the building administration before that time. For registrations completed after 5:00 p.m., entry cannot be authorized for that day and will be postponed until the following day starting at 8:00 a.m.
• Identification: Upon arrival, all guests must present a valid ID.
• Minors: Minors must be accompanied by a parent, or by a responsible adult who must present a偕 notarized authorization specifically permitting the minor's registration and stay at our apartment.
• Check-in and Check-out: Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. onwards, and check-out must be completed before 11:00 a.m. Respecting these times ensures proper organization and cleaning for all guests.
• Pets: Small pets are allowed. We understand they can get stressed or have accidents; however, if additional or professional cleaning is required, this service will be charged separately.
